Casa Maya Mexican Restaurant in High Bridge

The most authentic Mexican food I've ever had. Great atmosphere, great music, impeccable service. My new fave restaurant. Felt like I was on vacation!

Stopped in for lunch, had tacos, large portions, fresh authentic food, lovely atmosphere.. totally recommend

I've been to both Casa Maya restaurants, since the original opened. The food in both has always been exceptional, the atmosphere warm and inviting, and the service excellent. Great food at great prices with great staff.

To go options match the regular menu and service was personal and prompt. Food was hot and fresh. Will return for sure.

Loved this place before the pandemic and really, really miss going here. Wish they would consider outdoor seating. The takeout order was hot and fresh .Very generous portions! The queso appetizer is sooooo good and rich. (Savored it for days!) Everything here is so good and authentic.

If your serious about Mexican food, I would suggest a differnt eatery.

It was decent. Food was not remarkable but we were there late on a Sunday and we were clearly over our welcome, lol. would be happy to give it another go.

Love Casa Maya. Everything on the menu is excellent. An order of Carnitas will feed 2 people easily. Or just get it for yourself and have a few days of leftovers. BYOB if you wanna drink. Friendly staff, good prices, you can’t go wrong.

Authentic mexican food in this cute little village. Perfect for families after a good hike/trail in this area. The taste was good and had a clean appereance.

Nothing outstanding really. They did serve a large portion of food but I thought the flavor wasn't really good (I got carnitas) from their description of the dish on the menu I thought it was gonna be delicious but I get I got my expectations too high and then got disappointed. Still giving it 3 stars because I'm gonna give it another chance and hopefully food will be better.

Cute local place festively decorated. Food is good, but you need to be specific. Fajitas were too oily the first time so the second time I stressed minimal oil and was not disappointed. They are very flexible with food restrictions. BYOB. Great liquor store down the street.

Nobody opens on time in this town. Went here for lunch and they told me that they couldnt serve me even though it was listed hours. Place looks gross anyway glad I didnt eat there

Tacos are very filling, I was only able to eat one. I like how for each taco they use two shells, so they use a lot of meat. Very good, I just didn't like the taste of the taco meat all that much.

This is our go to spot for dinner. The fajitas are amazing. We love the cozy atmosphere, friendly staff and the fact that it's BYOB.

This restaurant was not good. The service was awful. It took us over an hour to get our food, and the servers almost forgot that our table was even there. When the food came, it was marginal at best. We will never go here again.

Somewhat Authentic mexican. Been to Mexico numerous times and love the food so I know what to expect.

Me and find my friend visit this place a lot very good food and the atmosphere is great! If you want a good place to eat and you're in the mood for Mexican you will not regret this place the carnitas are to die for.

Good Americanized Mexican food

Filling Tex Mexican in a festive environment decorated with flags and lights and mobiles. You can watch the High Bridge commuter trains go by as you eat. The chips are warm and the salsa tasty. The beans are really good. We enjoyed all our entrees.

Reminds me of Jose's cantina in Warren. Same chips and salsa and same menus. Nice accommodating people and place.

The spot is extraordinary and roomy, the menu was delicious and the rates were very affordable. quickly, productive service and very affable staff members. Will definitely recommend this spot.

I love this place!The staff is almost always polite and friendly.The food is consistently very good.And the ambience, although cheesy, is fun and very "Mayan/Mexican". I highly recommend the Mexican pizza (I ain't saying it's authentic...). Crispy and cheesy with a little kick from the jalapeños and the chorizo. I also recommend many of the meal combos- but be warned, portions are huge.

Amazing food great owner and great ambiance

Ended up here after a nice drive down some windy roads in the Honda S2000. Great food, and apparently a BYOB!

Showed up at 9:15 the restaurant hours show open until 10pm. The restaurant was so kind to inform us they were closed. Will definitely not step foot back into this establishment. I do not recommend them based on their customer service & ability to follow their company hours. There are plenty of other local restaurants in the area that would be more than happy to accommodate customers & follow their business hours. I have no desire to visit this establishment again. I recommend changing the hours on your google page if you’re not qualified to stay open & honor the hours posted on your site.

DELICIOUS! Great portions and service. You can’t go wrong at Casa Maya’s. They also offer takeout and it is wonderful.

Same menu as sister store. Same great taste. A little pricey just like sister store.

Good food and nice atmosphere.

Had lunch here and it was delicious. Food was impeccable and yummy. Service was excellent and prompt. Place is clean and located next to the train station in High Bridge. Parking lot is available and “on street” parking is avail close by. Come here and enjoy the unique food that is well prepared and tasty!!

Came for a private party. Food was terrific. But the staff were so nice and friendly. Will be awhile before we back in the area, but this will be a definite stop when we do.

The food here is amazing. Clean, fresh and full of flavor. Everything I have tried has been fantastic. All of the people I have brought here have become regulars on their own. Great customer service, great food.
